CamBridgeSens redesign

The CamBridgeSens website redesign has now gone live as planned after a successful development. The in-house team and Chameleon Studios worked closely together over the development cycle, addressing the areas that needed attention. These included overall website design, accessibility, ease of use, member management, event control, search systems, site promotions and a complete re-focus on website usability.

Welcome to CamBridgeSens, the University of Cambridge's EPSRC funded network for uniting sensing researchers. We represent a critical mass of expertise in the area of sensing technologies. Our vision is to eliminate departmental barriers in favour of forming a strong community in sensor related research, bringing together the talent and infrastructure necessary to catalyse sensor innovation and application.

From a need for more sensitive sensing devices at airport security check-points, to a demand for on-the-spot health diagnoses; faster, smaller, and more sensitive sensors have become a necessity in today's ever changing world. At the University of Cambridge, world-leading researchers from engineering, mathematics, computer science, chemistry, materials and biotechnology are working to improve sensing capabilities.
