As a brilliant PHP developer, you must have the following skills:

• Excellent understanding of PHP 5, MySQL and relational database design
• Excellent understanding of XHTML and CSS to W3C compliant standards
• Client-side libraries/frameworks (JQuery, Prototype and Scriptaculous)
• Cross browser/OS compatibility
• Experience working with major open source content management systems (Joomla, Wordpress, Expression Engine etc...)

Desirable skills include:

• Understanding of PHP frameworks (Zend, Code Igniter, Cake)
• Experience with Subversion / GIT version control
• Ability to work with image editing software (Photoshop, Fireworks)

This exciting and varied role will require a developer who is able to work under their own initiative. We are a small (but growing) team so we will keep you on your toes, but will reward you with a great working environment where your opinions will be highly valued and respected.
