Mosaic Content Management Suite

Overview

Mosaic is an advanced Content Management System (CMS) which allows individuals and groups of users to collaborate online when building, organising and contributing to the creation of the company website.

The primary objective of the system is to enable non-technical staff to edit the website in an easy, safe and controlled fashion. Users do not need any specific knowledge of HTML or any other related web technologies, if you can 'do the basics' on a computer, then you can use this system and contribute.

What makes Mosaic CMS different?
There are a wide range of free and professional CMS systems on the web, and nearly all of them are provided as 'out-of-the-box' installations. This sounds great until you have to setup and customise your new site, a skill which most companies do not have in-house.

With Mosaic CMS you get a tailored design and development service with experienced website specialists. We take you through the whole process, step-by-step and consult with you at each stage. In this way you are assured of getting the perfect solution for you business without the headaches!

System Architecture

The Mosaic system has been developed to be as flexible as possible when creating websites. The architecture consists of a base platform and add-on modules that can be installed giving you extra functionality for your website. Examples of these modules would normally include such items as News Systems, Search Facilities, Graphical Promotion Areas or possibly something unique if required?

Each Mosaic CMS solution is created and installed using our primary PHP/MySQL system code which can be developed and tailored into the desired solution.

Accessibility
Mosaic has been built from the ground up to comply with the latest 'accessibility guidelines' as set out by the World Wide Web Consortium (W3C). The system uses a combination of CSS, XHTML and 'Smart' templates to manipulate the website 'content' and display it in the visitors web browser.

This approach gives Mosaic the flexibility it needs to accommodate each clients differing requirements, resulting in modern, accessible and ultimately successful websites.
