Charity and Sponsorship

His Holiness the 14th Dalai Lama - www.dalailama.com
Whatever we write about this project it will never convey our personal passion and pride on being able to work on such an inspiring and unique website development. Over the past five years Chameleon Studios has donated our time, technology and consultancy services to The Office of His Holiness. We look forward to working on many future developments with the teams in Dharamsala and London.

Madagasikara Voakaj - www.madagasikara-voakajy.org
Chameleon Studios have committed to support the conservation project at Madagasikara Voakajy in Madagascar for the next 3 years helping them collect information on chameleon species as well as educating the local community.

Most of Madagascar's chameleons live inside tropical forests and many of these have naturally small areas of distribution. Ongoing loss and degradation of Madagascar's remaining forest threatens the survival of many species. Madagasikara Voakajy has an ongoing chameleon conservation project that aims to identify the species that are at most risk of extinction and develop solutions that will secure their survival in the wild.

The main objective is to provide the World Conservation Union with an update of the threatened status of all Malagasy chameleons for its Red List. Accurate information about which species are a conservation priority will allow appropriate allocation of resources to conserve habitats.

Sahara Rally - www.sahararally.co.uk
Chameleon Studios were proud to support the 'Scarred4Life' team cross the Sahara desert and donate the proceeds to two very worthy causes.

The East African Wild Life Society (EAWLS) is a non-profit making charity that relies totally on donations and support from its members to help in saving the forests, jungles, the wildlife and endangered species throughout Kenya, Tanzania and Uganda.

In conjuncton with the EAWLS the second charity, 'La Crèche de Tanger' in Morocco is a childrens' orphanage and charity that works with hardly any support in hard conditions and once again relies completely on the generosity of the few.
