In 2021, Chameleon Studios was awarded ‘preferred web design agency’ status by the University of Cambridge.
We have been working with the University of Cambridge and connected organisations for many years.
During that time, we have become one of the university’s preferred web design agencies, providing a wide range of services to the University’s External Communications team, Colleges, Departments, Centres, and a variety of other organisations and start-ups within the university community.

One of our first projects was to redesign and develop a new website for the University of Cambridge Alumni website.
Following this successful project we began working on other website developments for the University, including websites for the University’s 800th anniversary, Darwin College, Lucy Cavendish College, Hughes Hall College, CRASSH, Cambridge Conservation Initiative and many more…
In 2021, we were awarded preferred web design agency status by the University of Cambridge and are an approved supplier. This means that the university recognises Chameleon Studios as a trusted and reliable supplier of web design and digital marketing services.

There are a range of common elements when we work with University of Cambridge clients.
We are experts at taking the latest University brand including typography and colours, then applying this style to your project. We can also make recommendations on layouts and adding components that meet the latest guidelines.
We can happily work with any platform that suits your project. We offer our own website hosting if required, but we regularly work with University Information Services (UIS) or in-house IT departments to deploy and support University websites.
The University of Cambridge promotes open source software, so developing your system using WordPress is a perfect fit. We have created many systems using this fully customisable CMS platform which is perfect for any type of integration.
Ensuring your website is accessible is a key part of our web design process and responsibility. We work with all our University clients to promote best practice and ensure that your website will be as open and inclusive as possible.
We’ve worked with the University for over 20 years and are an approved supplier. This makes it really easy for University clients to connect with Chameleon and set up seamless billing for the work undertaken.
Having created many projects for the University community we have a wide range of example systems to promote. We can also connect you with key project leads to provide references and feedback on our past work.
Our team are ready to discuss your ideas, review solutions and create a package that is perfect for your needs.

“Working with Chas and Garth to turn our initially ill-formed ideas about what we wanted into this sleek new site and new look for the Centre has been a terrific collaboration. They've been patient, efficient and responsive and have even at times anticipated our needs before we've worked them out ourselves.”
